ROBERT BLAKEMAN, AIA, LEED AP

Robert Blakeman, AIA, LEED AP is a Principal at Paulus, Sokolowski and Sartor.

He has over thirty years of experience as a project manager and Principal-in-Charge for educational, corporate, hospitality, mixed-use urban development and conference center work. He has provided the leadership in multiple branch offices to bring them from start-up to successful regional practices. His marketing skills and pragmatic approach to design have won him projects across the United States and internationally.

Mr. Blakeman’s educational programming and master-planning skills coupled with his ability to build consensus with his clients provide an owner with an understanding of the project from kick-off to occupancy. This has been accomplished while adhering to strong schedules and budget constraints.

Mr. Blakeman has led the design in establishing new learning space for academic work, initiating sustainable design to reduce energy costs, create building space that increases performance and enhancing learning through effective building design, while providing a holistic approach to the design process.

He has spoken at national conferences to share his expertise on conference centers and sustainable design and has completed four-star hospitality projects for Showboat Casino and Merv Griffin’s Resorts Casino. He has completed state-of-the-art conference centers for Doral, Dolce International, Goldman Sachs and the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He is now completing LEED silver projects for RexCorp, Full Spectrum NY and Genzyme.
