CALVIN E. BEATTY, MANAGING PRINCIPAL, SOUNDVIEW PARTNERS, LLC
Mr. Beatty has over thirty years of experience in urban development, marketing,
sales, administration, public relations, and community relations. He has represented clients in various projects throughout the United States, The Caribbean, Mexico, and Africa. Mr. Beatty was a member of trade missions organized by the United States Department of Commerce, and was a delegate to the first annual International Privatization held in London, England in 1990. Mr. Beatty is currently involved in various urban mixed use development projects in Northern New Jersey.
Mr. Beatty was the Owner, Editor of a weekly newspaper, as well as Editor of a weekly entertainment guide which covered three urban communities. He was also General Manager of a minority-owned radio station in the Midwest and the General Manager of the Essex Suburban Greater News, a weekly publication in Newark, New Jersey. His experience as national representative for both print and television media have resulted in notable success for those entities he represented.
Mr. Beatty is a graduate of Ferris State University, Big Rapids, Michigan; UCLA, Los Angeles with a B.S. degree in Commerce. He completed MBA studies at UCLA and Fairleigh Dickinson University, Rutherford, New Jersey. Mr. Beatty is also a graduate of the National Executive Institute, an executive training program for executives involved in public relations and community relations. He has extensive and successful record of community service.
Mr. Beatty has served as board member of various national, regional and local organizations. He has also been appointed by Mayors of various communities to serve on commissions and other advisory positions.
