DHP is a company that was created to develop new hotel brands to serve niche demographic markets. While the mainstream hotel industry has demonstrated an ability to develop brands focused on the mass market at all levels it has not shown an ability to develop brands aimed at narrower demographics, DHP has assembled a unique collection of management with wide experience in operation of hotels and development of brands. This team is led by James Bates, a longtime factor in the hotel development industry.
DHP was created to be an umbrella entity for the DHP brand family. The company will create and prepare all materials required for new brands, will arrange for the brand roll out and will negotiate the initial franchise agreements for hotels flagged by DHP brands. DHP will also act as a developer on these individual hotel projects as required to facilitate brand development. DHP will serve as asset manager for the individual hotels and will supervise in this roll the management and marketing of these products.
Each brand will be organized as a separate legal entity and will have investors and offices associated with that entity. The brands currently under development include Artfactory Hotels, Lawyers Inns, Hospital Lodging Systems, G hotels, Goldstone Hospitality, College Lodging Facilities, International Airport Hotels, Condo Hotels, and Conference Center Hotels International.
